“Ikigai is a Japanese concept that means “a reason for being.” The word “ikigai” is usually used to indicate the source of value in one’s life or the things that make one’s life worthwhile. The word translated to English roughly means “thing that you live for” or “the reason for which you wake up in the morning.” — Wikipedia

Passion, Mission, Vocation, Profession. When looked at together their combination provides us with a framework to aspire towards, a model which charts our satisfaction, delight, excitement and comfort. Exploring our individual ikigai can help us uncover where feelings of emptiness, uselessness, uncertainty and scarcity come from while guiding us towards the intersection of what we love, what we are good at, what the world needs and what we can get paid for.

MindshareLA Founder Douglas Campbell and master creator Dave Zaboski invite you to participate in the Connectors Soirée, an interactive gastronomic experience during which each participant gets the opportunity to share:

* WHO WE ARE, WHERE WE ARE STRONG AND WHERE WE STILL NEED WORK *

***

NOTE: Cocktail reception at 7pm. Dinner begins at 8pm SHARP. We’ll scribe each participant’s responses and share them via email with the entire group (unless otherwise requested).
